Breaking Free: How Time Line Therapy Can Help You Overcome Limiting Beliefs and Achieve Your Goals

Time Line Therapy (TLT) is a therapeutic technique that focuses on helping individuals release negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and unresolved conflicts from the past. Developed by Tad James and Wyatt Woodsmall in the 1980s, TLT is based on the idea that our perception of time influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By working with a therapist to explore and reframe past experiences within the context of a person's "timeline," TLT aims to create positive shifts in mindset and behavior. Some potential benefits of Time Line Therapy include:

  • Emotional Release: TLT can help individuals identify and release negative emotions such as anger, sadness, fear, guilt, and shame that may be stored in their unconscious mind from past experiences.

  • Resolution of Trauma: TLT provides a structured framework for resolving past traumas and conflicts by revisiting and reframing those experiences from a more empowered perspective.

  • Elimination of Limiting Beliefs: TLT helps individuals identify and challenge limiting beliefs that may be holding them back from achieving their goals and fulfilling their potential. By reframing beliefs about oneself and one's capabilities, individuals can create more empowering beliefs that support their desired outcomes.

  • Enhanced Confidence and Self-Esteem: Through the process of releasing negative emotions and limiting beliefs, TLT can help individuals develop a greater sense of self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem.

  • Improved Relationships: By resolving past conflicts and releasing negative emotions, individuals may experience improvements in their relationships with others, as they are able to communicate more effectively and authentically.

  • Stress Reduction: TLT techniques can help individuals manage stress more effectively by releasing pent-up emotions and adopting healthier coping strategies for dealing with challenges and setbacks.

  • Goal Achievement: By clearing emotional and mental blocks from the past, TLT can help individuals clarify their goals, increase motivation, and take action towards achieving their desired outcomes.

  • Personal Growth and Development: TLT provides individuals with tools and techniques for personal growth and self-discovery, enabling them to create positive changes in various areas of their lives.

It's important to note that the effectiveness of Time Line Therapy may vary for each individual, and it is often used in conjunction with other therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or hypnotherapy, to achieve optimal results.

It’s $80 a session and no set time. We work with what appears in each session as we go. When you feel you are finished or need time to process we stop.
